svn: Can't convert string from 'UTF-8' to native encoding( svn up )

When using Linux to to update SVN repository , may be the following error appears : 



ERROR: svn: Can't convert string from 'UTF-8' to native encoding




SOLUTION: 

export LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8
